These four features are the most significant and basic aspects our clients highlighted to us during the project development.
High precision tolerance
As the gearbox will transmit the power from the motor to other executive components, this requires the whole gearbox run very smooth, so the inside shaft, bearing, gear must be positioned extremely precisely and matched only very small gap. Without precision tolerance in the mounted locations, these functions of gearbox cannot be played well.
Aluminum die casting is very suitable and easily for CNC machining, to be precision tolerance is common usage with good designed process and the equipment.
Compact
While the mechanical power transmitted during the system, it needs the housing body must be enough strength to support the impacting of the torque. Right die casting aluminum can satisfy this demand, like ADC-12, A380, their mechanical properties are very excellent, and we have used them in unaccounted items for the clients’ projects.
Wearing-resistant
When the gearbox works, all main components transmitting power need rotating up, which forces the component’ related supporter to continuously touch the internal side of housing with mechanical power. Due to the long times operation, the touched face is easily wearing. But the face is aluminum with very smooth and small roughness result like Ra0.8, can obviously reduce the conflict between the touched faces, to last the working life.
Light weight
This is the huge advantage of aluminum, one of third weight of steel or copper in the same size. the inside functional components are enough heavy, so any designer wants to reduce the weight as more as possible, based on the housing is sufficient strength for supporting and protection.
